I was chatting with some friends in the fitness industry and one of the things that plagues almost everyone is what to write when it comes to content for our website and future articles.
Often times we think we know who we’re writing to or that we know exactly what you want to hear, but we’re usually just making and educated guess. So I figured what better way to find out than to actually ask you? (Brilliant, I know.)
So that’s what I’m doing. Today I’d like you to introduce yourself, let me know a little about you and what you’d like me to address on my site.
Where are you from?
Are you a trainee, coach, therapist, or whatever?
Do you want to get crazy lean, improve performance in the gym, reduce injuries, get wicked strong, or just be look good on the beach?
Drop me a note in the comments section below and let me know what YOU want to read. After all, I write this stuff for you so why not tell me what you want to see?
Fire your questions and I’ll do the best to provide answers. If I can’t…chances are that I know someone who can and maybe I’ll get them to do a guest blog.
I’m just your typical gym rat trying to look good. I do find most of your posts good which is why I try to stop by here daily. I guess I find topics such as posture interesting b/c I’m your average desk jockey. Mobility in general and joint health are interesting topics as well.

I’m a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist, Titliest Performance Golf Fitness Instructor; and a Kettlebell Instructor, working in an advanced rehabilitation center with a team of 3 Chiropractor’s; Physical Therapists and I consider myself knowledgeable when it comes to myofasical restrictions/meridians and corrective exercises for biomechanical flaws, and utilize the famed “Functional movement Screen” by Gray Cook. I’m also certified in Graston Technique, In the process of going through ART Cert; and ALWAYS willing to learn more about rehabilitation exercise/techniques.

My name is Troy and I’m a personal trainer in Melbourne, Australia who trains just as hard as I train my clients. I love all fitness related content, ecspecially that that goes against the norm. I’m not very conventional in anything I do.
We have a lot of older clients so there are plenty of niggling injuries (shoulders and backs mostly) so I ecspecially love the pehab/rehab stuff. I really enjoy stuff about exercise progressions that we can use with our clients because if we can make them feel better for even an hour, for one thing they’ll love us and also refer others in.
As for my own training my ultimate goal is probably increasing vertical leap and speed. I just got Kelly Baggett’s new product which I’ll start in a month or so when footy finishes up. I have an ankle thing which is restricts improvement though. I can deadlift twice my bodyweight, chin up 1.5 x my bodyweight (+40kgs at 75kgs bodyweight) so I think I’m strong enough but my right ankle has something wrong with it that I can’t seem to pin point.
Can you help me out?

I’m a PT from Sweden. I’m always looking for inspiration for new ideas. I really enjoy to get my ideas challenged. I think it is wonderful that you are open with how you work with your clients. Too many trainers are so afraid that people are going to give them critic, as a trainer that is a dangerous way to think.
Right now I’m very interested in prehab/rehab. For me it is all about my clients and how I can improve their life, nothing is more satifaing then getting thanks from people that no longer feel pain.
