Hey Freddys,

I like to be sold on the science and theory (and ideally see some peer reviewed research) presented by the company UP FRONT if they're trying to get my to invest in products (or expensive seminars). Perhaps Z-Health is not useless per se, but I certainly don't think it is an absolutely essential part of programming for results in fat loss and performance. Again, it may help, but for me I don't think it represents one of the "big rocks" that I'm going to be investing my time any money into. Of course, I could be totally missing the boat and I'm way off base. :)

The Z-Health R-Phase DVD is sold to the public and also given to the seminar participants. If you want to learn which drills would be best for you, then attend the Essentials of Elite Performance workshop, or the R-Phase certification. Only looking at the drills on the DVD is like having the ingredients to a great recipe, but now knowing when to use what...

As for investing in the courses, I completely understand, but it is really a no risk scenario for anybody who chooses to attend. The seminars have a 100% money back guarantee. I would love to have you attend one, give me a call to learn more about Z-Health and answer any other questions you might have.

I love applying neuroscience to improve health and performance.

Good luck,
Freddys

Hey Mike,

Yes, the Buchberger 12 are solely shoulder/scapular drills. All of the usual prone Y's, external rotations, internal rotations, etc.

Thanks for the links and products update Mark! Awesome to know that you are always looking to expand your knowledge.

I will have to check out Gladwell's newer book. I loved Blink and the Tipping Point was good too.

For the Buchberger, maybe I missed it, but are they all shoulder drills? I know it was for shoulder issues, but curious is they all involve the shoulder.

Correct, the R Phase is ONLY the exercises. Although they do teach different eval methods at the R Phase cert.

I find that some of the drills work great, and others I personally do not use. Again they are an option to test for some athletes. In general, the worse their movement the more they will probably need to focus on fine motor movement (mobility, my buddy Frankie likes the term micromovements).

I just sent you an email too.

rock on
