Recently my friend Mike Scott sent me a question for his One Question Many Answers Series inquiring as to my professional goals for the next 5 years.
.
Having read all the answers I came to 3 major conclusions.
.
1. I can’t take directions and didn’t actually answer all parts of the question he asked.
.
2. I also apparently cannot spell the word “instructor”.
.
3. Almost every one of the health and fitness professionals listed had some aspirations towards learning more. I think this point underscores what separates those who end up successful from those who are not. Well…that…and being a ninja.
.
Check out all the great answers HERE.

My good buddy Mike Scott sends me an email that says ““In your opinion, which one ‘fad’ in the rehab, strength and conditioning, or fitness industries deserves to be forgotten?”
What? A free place to rant?
In any case, I gave him my response and it turns out I’m not the only one disappointed in the current state of the fitness industry. Check out my answer and those of many other fitness folks HERE.

Recently my friend Mike Scott sent a group of fitness professionals and rehabilitation specialists a question:
“In 4 (FOUR!) sentences or less, name your favorite resource for strengthening, conditioning, health, OR rehabilitation information. This can include books, journals, seminars, websites (NOT GOOGLE), or anything else you can think of. You can only include ONE resource my friends, so make sure it is your favorite.”
Now THAT is a tough question. Check out the list of answers HERE and then swing back by to let me know what your favourite resource is in the comments section below.
PS: Don’t come back and tell me your site is the best site on the internet you arrogant buggers.

As many who deal with those in youth sports know, there are an increasing number of kids with repetitive strain injuries and that just shouldn’t happen.
Fortunately, my good friend Mike Scott has pulled together 15 therapists and coaches (myself included) and asked what we thought was causing these issues. Given the vast array of professional experiences I think the answers all pointed primarily towards the same thing.
Make sure to check it out HERE.

Don’t be the kind of strength coach who…
A little while back my friend and strength coach Nick Tuminello sent an email to several coaches asking for their ending to the sentence “Don’t be the kind of strength coach who…” Check out his post summarizing these informative and funny thoughts from some of the leaders in the industry.
One Tip for a Healthy Life
Also, my PT friend Mike Scott recently sent me this: “In two sentences or less, what is one tip to help people maintain/start a healthy lifestyle? Clearly two sentences with a loose guideline.” Check out what I and fifteen other coaches and therapists had to say HERE.
